There was also NO EMAIL/or call to advise that the park had been taken over by someone else. It would have been nice to let us know there would now be no ''Kids activities'' no '' Go karts''? These things are still on the big 4 website and it was very disappointing as we made our choice to stay here based on these options being available in the school holidays... BACK IN FEBRUARY.

Horrible - As the park still has a big 4 sign out the front we where expecting the highest standard that we would receive at any big 4 especially one with a 4 star rating ??.

As a large group of 13 adults and 8 children i thought they would be A LOT more accommodating.. hearing them talking about other guests and complaining about them when we where in the office to others was horrible! And we could only imagine the things they where saying about us..

Great spot to get away from the city! Manning point is a great location, but may be a bit out of the way if you want to use it as a base camp to explore the Manning Valley over a couple of days.

Myself and my family/friends go to a big 4 every year around Christmas/new year for a week to take all our kids camping. Little did we know that the park has been taken over and was now run by gateway life styles (Gateway life styles; We’re committed to helping you discover the PLUS in being over 50!)

Ive been coming here for 33 years and still love it. We have an onsite van now which is great and you can take your furry friends too.

Management was rude the whole week and made us feel uncomfortable, Having constant complaints (about children/adults) but where giving those complaints to the CHILDREN to reiterate to adults, not to mention the complaints being false, due to this i had to go to the office and ask them to come and see an adult if they had an issue! It was like we were a constant burden to them. and also saying to one of the kids '' that we where all better off not coming at all''..

Thank you Paula and Dave for a wonderful week. You both truely make this park fun, and my family have lots of great memories! We will definitely return in the New year and make this our holiday destination - it has absolutely everything (river, beach, fishing, diving, massive pool to keep cool and easy access)

The bathrooms leaked horribly when it rained leaving toilets and floors with puddles, and the pool constantly had to much chlorine, all in all WE still made a good week and made the most out of it. But we will NEVER be coming here again and i would NOT recommend this park to anyone.

The review that I just read made me want to write a review also. I agree totally that this is not somewhere you want to stay. They put tents on caravan sites - a big slab and lots of dirt. There is a very very high percentage of permanent residents. It is now a "lifestyle village" and really should be upfront about that. We also had a ruined holiday as we planned a camping trip and ended up going to an old peoples retirement village. I think the people who live at this camp ground would prefer it to be just permanent guests also. Some are grumpy. The management needs to sort out its priorities.
